Arrange to observe a lesson delivered by a colleague whose planning you can review and discuss in advance. Speak to them about how they have structured the lesson to support effective learning, and what strategies they will use to assess the lesson’s impact and success.

Then, complete a second Observation of a Colleague, focusing closely on how planning shapes teaching and learning.
Refer to the Grad2Teach (G2T) observation guidance and student exemplar to help you to know what to observe and how to comment upon it.

**Remember to use the Guidance and Exemplar documents to help you complete these tasks** (see points 5 and 6 on the Materials tab under Week 5)

You need to complete this task on the word document called ‘Observing Colleagues – Planning Wk5′.
