(Study Group) – Preparation for Study Group 2 / How Do Pupils Develop as They Get Older?

How do pupils develop physically, socially and intellectually as they get older and how can their learning be affected?

How can I accommodate the needs of one of my own groups?

Task 1: (tbc) Thinking here to have materials for study group preparation that inform the trainees of how pupils develop differently physically, socially and intellectually – this does not need to be focused on the trainee’s placement school to make it easier for them (3.1)

Task 2: (tbc) Here I think this assessment criterion does need to be based in their placement school and it can be just one class or year group so the trainee’s response does not get too long and detailed. Would be useful if the class or year group is the class that they will be observed with (3.2)
