Week 2

It’s Week 2 of your Level 4 course, where you have a chance to reflect on your first couple of weeks on placement and what you have learnt from the research you’ve done on your school environment and culture. Here are your reminders for the tasks and activities you need to complete this week:
(1) Complete self-led training on Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle
(2) Complete your Independent Learning Journal (ILJ) using the Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle prompts for the first time. Good luck!

Key Dates:

1. In-person training session – Monday 27th October in Peterborough – 9.30am – 4.00pm (arrive at 9.00am for a prompt start).
Please ensure that you have booked your train tickets, if you will be arriving by public transport.

2. First study group next week on Professional Values (Week 3) – Please complete your pre-reading and preparation for this and revisit your reflections from weeks 1 and 2.
