Task 1: Reflection on the link between strong relationships and a positive learning environment AO2/1.1).

Trainees consider how understanding, listening and taking an interest in pupils as individuals and creating a culture of respect and trust in the classroom enables all pupils to succeed.

Task 2: Reflection on why role modelling behaviour to pupils is essential to the profession (AO2/1.2).

Linked to 1.1, trainees consider the importance of modelling the courteous behaviour that we expect from pupils and modelling the shared values and standards expected from pupils in their school.

Task 3: Analyse the effectiveness of strategies used by others to create positive, safe, predictable and respectful learning environments (AO2/1.3)

Task 4: Analyse the effectiveness of strategies used by others to protect and motivate pupils encouraging behaviour for learning and emotional self-regulation when observing expert colleagues (AO2/1.4)
